San Francisco de Asis Episcopal Church 7000 Woodhue Dr. Austin, Tx 78745 San Francisco de Asis is in the process of becoming self-sufficient. El Buen Samaritano shares facilities with our Church, but we are a community looking for independence. Our main goal is to have our own worship place, in which we can share our own identity and spiritual life with others. The hope of San Francisco de Asis is to share God’s love by living God’s word and proclaiming his salvation. San Francisco de Asis focuses on the Hispanic community by offering the main worship service and Christian formation in Spanish. The youth of San Francisco de Asis are thriving by their participation in the Choir and as Lectors. Our Mission:
San Francisco de Asis continues to minister to Spanish speaking families in and around Austin, and focus on growth and expansion in the community and into our own facility.
Reverend José Palma became Vicar of Iglesia San Francisco de Asis, July 13th, 2003, the announcement was made by Bishop Don Wimberly. Thanks to Bishop Wimberly for his help and support. Now, our community is strong and building up our leadership. We are located at a new building on the campus of El Buen Samaritano, with a capacity for 450 people. Our goal is to continue working with the community and on the outreach of San Francisco de Asis. Our church manages several different ministries, including:
La Iglesia SanFrancisco de Asis, will continue working to deliver the word of God to the Hispanic community, knowing in the future that the challenges we face can be confronted together with God and our Community. Our Mission is:
Our Objective is: Grow the congregation of our church
